Abstract:
Immune signaling plays a vital role in preventing host from pathogen infection. Higher-order assemblies have recently emerged as a central principle in governing immune signaling. Here, I will use a few examples in my lab to highlight the assembly process of these supramolecular complexes in immunity and the functional significance of these higher-order assemblies in immune defense. Moreover, I will elaborate how we leverage structural information for functional characterization of novel immune systems.
